Evaluating Pop Up Displays
Some important distinctions to make when evaluating Pop Up displays include:
Lighting
We offer both 100 watt and 200 watt lights. If your need to spotlight a
specific image, our 100-watt light will work fine. If you need to light the entire
display, we recommend two of our 200-watt floodlights. If your are considering a
competitor's web site and wattage isn't indicated, be sure to ask.
Case to counter conversion kits
All our kits are made using frontrunner or
prelude fabric, not the thin lycra fabric material used in other conversion kits found
on the web that can easily tear.
Display fabric used
We use the highest quality of fabric available, specifically
designed for the trade show industry; Frontrunner and Prelude.
Frames
Our frames our made using ½" thick round aluminum extrusions with a
heavy-duty rivet. Be sure to avoid any frame using anything less than ½" thick
tubing. Regardless if it is fiberglass or aluminum, if it is less than ½" thick, it will
tend to bend or break.
Hubs and joints
The joints on our aluminum tubes are thicker, making the
hub/joint connection stronger. Our Platinum hubs are uniquely designed to allow
you reconfigure your display as needed.
Individual vs. folding channel bars
Our experience shows this comes down
to user preference. Folding channel bars do have a few advantages; fewer pieces
to lose, fewer connections to make, but either display is designed to be set up by
one person in a few minutes.
Single case vs. multiple case kits
Again, this comes down to user
preference. It's easier to pull around one case than two cases, but it will be heavier
and more difficult to lift. It is also easier to fit two smaller cases in a car than one
large case.
